On 9th and 10th April, passenger trains leave YVanganui 7 a.m., Feilding 9.15 a.m.. and 10.35 a.m. for Palmerston. The usual 4.50 p m., train, Palmerston to.Wanganui and Taihape will be delayed to leave Palmerston 5.40 p.m. Holiday Excursion tickets, available for return until '24 th April, inclusive, will be issued to Palmerston on 9th April, from Wanganui, Taihape and intermediate stations; also on 10th April from Wanganui, Taihape, and intermediate stations by the 7 a.m. train from Wanganui, the 6 a.m. train from Taihape, and the 9.15 am. train from Feilding. These excursion tickets will NOT be available by the Express and Mail trains between Palmerston, Taihape and Wanganui. Return Tickets (price 2s 6d each irrespective of class and including admission to course), Palmerston to Racecourse, will be obtainable at Wanganui, Feilding and Palmerston and on morning trains before arrival at Palmerston. Single tickets, Racecourse to Palmerston, 9d. No other tickets are available by Racecourse trains. BY ORDER. ZEALAND RAILWAYS PALMERSTON NORTH RACES AT AWAPUNI RACECOURSE, 9tk & 10th APRIL. Holiday Excursion Tickets to Palmerston North, available for return until 24th April, will be obtainable on 9th and 10th April at Wanganui, Taihape, Foxton, Wellington (Thorndon), Waipukurau, Masterton and intermediate stations. On 10th April these tickets will be issued by morning trains only. FARES—Palmerston North to Racecourse, return 2s 6d, irrespective of class, including admission to course, available for day of issue only. Single fare Racecourse to Palmerston ITorth, 9d. ON 9th & 10th APRIL—' Special Race Trains will leave Palmerston North at 10, 11.3, 11.18 and 11.35 a.m., returning from Racecourse at 5.15, 5.27 and 5.45 p.m. The usual 5 p.m. Palmerston North, Wellington train will leave Palmerston at 5.12 p.m and will run via the Race course, leaving Racecourse at 5.32 p.m. Longburn 5.50 and will run as a passenger train to Wellington, Wellington arrive 10 p.m. The 9 a.m. Foxton-Palmerston and the 6.40 a.m. Paekakariki-Palmerston trains will run via the Racecourse. The usual 5.35 p.m. Palmerston-Fox-ton train will leave Palmerston at 5.40 p.m., Foxton arrive 7.20 p.m. The ordinary up Wellington-New Plymouth Mail Train will stop at Awapuni to allow passengers for races to alight, a special passenger train for racecourse connecting at Awapuni Junction with ordinary up Wellington-New Plymouth mail train. . The ordinary up Wellington-Napier Mail Train will stop at Awapuni to allow passengers to alight. The ordinary down New PlymouthWellington Mail Train will stop at Awapuni to take up passengers. The usual 4.40 pm. Palmerston- Waipukurau train will not run North of Dannevirke. The usual 5.30 p.m. PalmerstonWoodville train will be extended to Waipukurau and will be delayed to leave Palmerston at 5.45 p.m., connecting at Woodville with train leaving that station for Masterton at 7 p.m Last train from Racecourse, connecting with above train leaves Racecourse at 5.27 p.m. ORDER.
