The station staff also showed their high esteem of Mr lies. On their behalf, Mr Laing (his successor) presented him with a travelling rng and a case of pipes. Two old members of the staff, Messrs O'Brien and Monteith, expressed regret at his denartyje, and spoke of the good feeling which had always existed. In appreciation of the hy Mf lies in supplying trucks, the Feilding branch Of MdnaWatu Auctioneers' Association handed a substantial souvenir of recognition. Mr lies was also the recipient of a travelling rug fiom a number of friends.

Mr Victor Williamson, land agent, Feilding, has removed into more commodious offices in McArthur street, opposite the Times' office. He announces in this issue a dairy farm between Feilding and Palmerston for sale on good terms. Mr Williamson has a number of other properties for disposal and will forward any information.
