AT ADRIANOPLE. SMALL SKIRMISHES. BULGARS CHECKED IN THE SOUTH. Constantinople, March 10. Adrianople was bombarded on Thursday and Friday, but was quiet on Saturday. Artillery at Bulair checked the Bulgarian advance on Kuruchiflik, inflicting loss. The Bulgarians fired on the cruiser Torgut on Friday, which ultimatelysilenced the land batteries. A Bulgarian aeroplane dropped a bomb into Bulair, but caused no damage. The loss of Janina has created a painful impression in London. GREEKS HELP THEIR ENEMIES Athens, March 10. When Janina surrendered the Greeks sent supplies of food to the Turks, who had suffered great privations. TROUBLE IN THE CAPITAL. VENGEANCE FOR NAZIM. Received 12.15 a.m. London, March 10. The Chronicle's Constantinople correspondent says it is rumoured that Shevket Pasha will resign the Grand Viziership. Crowds attended Nazim Pasha's memorial service at the Suleimanis' Mosque.
There were loud cries for vengeance on the murderers. Twenty-five officers attending the service were arrested.
