PRINTERS' AWARD.

Mr Justice Sim, sitting at Palmerston North yesterday with two assessors as an Arbitration Court, heard an application to join country par- ■ ties to the Wellington award. An objection from Mr F. Pirani on behalf of the country printers of the Wellington district was argued at some length. He urged that itwas not fair to join them to an award on which they had had no opportunity of being 'heard. His Honor: We cannot go into the merits of the award all over again. He added that the difficulty was that there was a Dominion award, and if they carried on business the same as their master printers they would have to be joind aa parties.
