YESTERDAY'S SALES. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd.. report:—At our Paimerston North sale yesterday we had a fair yarding of both sheep and cattle. Bididng was dull, and several lots were passed out unsold. We quote: —Sheep: Mixed 2-ths, 12s Gd to 14s lid. Cattle: iSmos steers, small £3 2s; 2yr steers, £5 5s ; empty "cows, £53 10s to £3 18s (id; 2yr empty heifers, £2 (ss; forward heifers, £4 5s to £4 ss; springing cows, £7; bulls, £3 2s (xl to £4 10s. * Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Paimerston North, reportWe had a small entry at our Paimerston North sale, which sold as below : —Weaners 255, 28s to 33s Gd; store cows, to £3 10s; forward cows, to £4 7s Gd; 2yr steers, to £4 Bs. The N. Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., and Reduced, report:—We had a small entry of sheep and a good yarding of principally young cattle.
