PROPOSED VISIT OF SOUTH AFRICANS. A TEAM OF COLOURED COLONIALS. By Teleorap/i—Press A&sociation, Wellington, Last Night. A meeting of tlie committee ot the N Z. Rugby Union wns held tonight, when a letter was received from Maurice P. Epstein, Kimberley, Giiqnaland West, ;proposing to bring over a SorttD African "coloured" Rngby team composed of pnrely coloured ooiouials, all trained atiilfitfs, and the majority international players. The letter stated that the toam wonld-pay nll'its own expenses, but was pnrely independent, and would be composed of 27 players, more to follow if necessary.
The commitae to forward the correspondence to the South African Board and stats that the New Zealand Kußby Unirn will be pleased to receive 'a Sooth African representative team to tour the Dominion in 1912.
