The Post's Sydney correspondent states that: .
A Mr Peterkin, of Kirkoaldio, propos' s to shirt a linen factory somewhere in New Zealand, the Dominion having bnen selected in preference to Australia, on account cf tbe supply of flax. He is at present in Sydney, but will leave for Wellington in the course of a week or two.
Why not Palmerston? Will the Chamber of Commerce look into it? We could grow the linen making flax here as well as anywher?. ■
