TRANSCONTINENTAL FLIGHT. AN ACCIDENT AT 70 MILES AN HOUR.

It is practically certain that Mr Rodgers will arrive at Pasadena, California, on Sunday, completing his trans-continental trip. When crossing Saton Lake the cylinder of his engine exploded and Rodgeis voloplsned tor four miles, landing outside the Imperial Junction Depot. He was travelling 70 miles an honr when the aooideut occurred, repairs occupied a day.
