New South Wales made 498 in the lirst innings against Queensland. Queeuslaud replied with 162, the principal scorers being Fennel 71, Oxenham (not out) 26, Sims 20, Folkurd 30. Queensland, following Jon, scored 86 without the loss of a wicket. VICTORIA V. SOUTH AUSTRALIA Victorians behind on first INNINGS. Reoeived 5.5 p.m. Adelaide, Lust Night, The Victoria-South Austialia match was resumed in perfect weather. Victoria in the first innings made 265, Seitz 75, Smith 48 and Ransford 55 being principal soorers. Whitty took two wickets for 52, Wright 'three for 62, Crawford four for 76. 2 South Australia in the secon I innings lost two wickets for 29. CRICKET AND POLITICS.
