In the House of Commons Mr Asq-uith. resolutely declined to accede to Mr O'Brien's request to forecast the Government's Home Rule proposals.
He invited Mr O'Brien to disclose his own plan, adding that any constructive suggestions would be treated with all consideration and sympathy.
