» A HOT TIME. (Press Association.—By Copyright). , Vancouver, Yesterday. Fierce bush fines in the Cobalt mining region, in Ontario, destroyed severa'l camps. There have been some fatalities. It is believed tho hot day weather was responsible for the fires. New York, Yesterday. To-day k the 'hottest day of the year, Mowing tiro days of swelter. It is estimated that four hundred thousand persons slept on Ooney Island sands in tho effort to keep cool. Tke.death list has been heavy through, the Eastern and Middle States. 1
