FACTORY MANAGERS' ASSOCIATION.
ANNUAL MEETING, I Tlie New Zealand Dairy Factory Managers' Association held itsfomth annual meeting at the A. and P. rooms last night,Mr F. J. McDonald presided aud some SO membots were present. The annual report showed a credit balanoe of £23 after paying £32 for trophies. Tweutj-oue new members had joined. The following officers were elected:—President, Mr J. Middleton (Osntaibury); vice-presirtents, Messrs W. 0. Dixon (Thames Valley),F. J. McDonald, (Rata}, G. Parity (Kapougn), J. Young (Palmerstou): committee, Mes3is J, R. Curie (Mere Mere), J, Rutherford (Bell Blook), 0. Edwards (Bunuythorpe), T. 0. Irving (Great-ford), 0, Benge (Cambridge), 0. Kelly (Koniui), T. Roberison (Kakaramea) seoretary and treasuier, Mr J. Murray (Cheltenham), re-electad. " Ton pounts was voted to the seoretary aud tteßsnrer in recognition of his ssrvices. Mr Murray said Iw'diil not think the Association could attorrt to give so much, so he would devote £5 of it to two gold medals for competition iu the manager's olass:s at the Hawera Show next year. The Waikato Show Committee wrote asking the Association to assist in inoraasing interest iu the dairy produce classes at Hamilton. Auckland members urged that much good would be done by arianging a small gathering wliioli oonld bs attended by men who wero unable to get to Palmertton.—lt wns decided to vote trophies, Messrs Dixon, Benge aud Sinclair being appointed a committee to deal with the matter.
