THE OPERA HOUSE.
SFEOIAIi SHOW WEEK ATTRACTION. For some time past the tnanagaraent of the Munioipal Pictures have been In Buaroh of a speoial attraction for the Winter Show week season, and to this end booked Professor Barrasa and his oompauy of marionettes. Professor Barrass Ims just arrived in the Dominion after a prolonged tour of the world and bungs with him a oomplete entertainment. The Professor informs ns that his present show is the result of a life study in manipulating marionettes, and he claims to poEsess the most oomplete "fit up" of any performer in this Hue.. He has given his enteitainment before many of tne most prominent people in Europe, and has been the star' feature on the bills of most leading vaudeville theatres. This evening Professor Barrass will present his ontertaiument at the Opera House in conjunction with the Munioipal Piobe the star attraction every evening during the Winter Show week. The programme will inolnde cirons, operatio, dramatic, vaudeville and farcical acts by the marionettes on a specially constructed stage and should prove a big attraction.
In addition to this ucvelty a speoial supply of film has been arranged for this week, and the new programme has be6n carefully seleoted from a large quantity of film secnred. The Bssauy Company is represented in a strong Western drama entitled "The Silent Message" and the Edison Company present a drama woven round the attractive personality of Napoleon Bonaparte. The "Aspirations of Peroy and Gerald" is a comedy from the Imp studies and tbe scenio saotion inoludes some of the Pathe aud Gauinont Company's best work The orohestra will suply the incidental musio and the double attraction should draw some good houses throughout the week.
