PALMERSTON CLUB'S TOURNAMENT.
The Palmerston Tminis Olub'g tournamout terminated yesttfday in very unfavourable woitther, whioh robbed the finals of a proi.f deal of interest, although the plav was remarkably good. The courts in the morning were just becoming lively wtien the rain softeued them, and soaked the balls so that ihey would hardly bounce at all. Praise is due to the management for the manner they oonducted the tournameut. Amongst the hardest worked of the oommito were Messrs W. L. Fit*. H 1 N VVfl'f Wal(legrave > 0.
