MIXED FOURSOMES. Twenty-two couples took part in the mixed foursomes for prizes presented :by Messrs Barraud and' Abraham played at tlie links on Saturday the opening day; hardly so many players as at the first day of the season last year—but a keen lot. The scores were fairly good on the average, a few returning exoellent cards. As will be seen by the results the players were well brought together. The winners A. Barraud and Miss Sybil Abraham did'well, but Barraud mußt evidently be light on the good form he was displaying all last season,'as his partner is quite a junior player,' There were ties for 2nd >3rd and 4th places.
