PALMERSTON OLUB'S ANNUAL MEETING. There was a large attendauoe of members at tlio anuual meeting of the Falmerstou North Football CM held iu the Opera House supper room last night, Mr H, F. Gibbons piesided. ■ Tho following new members were elected Messrs Muller, Gordon Lyons, Wiudle, U, MoCarty, Cieland, A. Baker, H. Scott, H. Priugle, Clark, Aitoheson, W. Dilks, Brown, E. Gardner, Eooles, H. Stubbs, W. Lyons, H. Davis, Burbush. The following officers were eleoted -Patrou, Mr H. F. Gibbons; President, Mr D. Buick, M.P.; vicepresidents, Messrs A. Mahon, A, N. Gibbous, Stagpoole, Essex, Ohilds, Hurley, A. E. Bennett, Fitzlierbert, Wm. Beck, S. Greer and Drs. Peach and Putnam; secretary, Mr R. Harness ; Treasurer, Mr W. Kyle; captain, Mr W. Boon; vice-captain, Mr Skelley; management committee, Messrs Stubbs, Downos, Brough, Gibbons and Egliuton; delegates to Union, Messrs Muller, Stubbs, Torstonson, Fraser, Mansford, Hopwood; selection committee, Messrs Boon, Skelley and Gibbons. It was resolved to start the soason next Saturday on the Pascal street ground.

The subscriptions were fixed at 5s and 2s Gd.

The balance-sheet showed a satisfactory state of affairs iu respoot to finance, a balance of £2O being in lmnd. The annual report, as already published, and tho balance-sheet were adopted. SUGGESTED GYMNASIUM.

The question of gymnasium was brought up by Mr Fraser aud Messrs H. F. Gibbous, Torstonson and Fraser were appointed a oommittee to go into the matter and report to the next general meeting of the oommittee.

It was resolved that it be an instruction from the delegates from the club to the Rugby Uniou to support a resolntion in favour of remitting the olub entrance' fee to the accident insurauoe for the season.

A ohallenge received from the Orient Football Olub, Wellington, to play a match ou Easter Saturday was accepted provided that it is played in Palmerston.

Votes of thanks to the officers for the past year, the chairman, and the retiring secretary, Mr Eglintou, concluded the meeting.
