CRICKET.

Drapers succumbed to Terrace End yesterday. The former batted first and were all disposed of for 55. Cuthbertson 32 (not out) was the only one to do any good against the bowling of Turner who secured the fine average of D for 27. Terrace End responded with 69, to which Eyre and Henderson 13 apiece, Kaye 12 and McLeavy 11 were the principal contributors. Croucher 5 for 29, and Stebbings 4 for 39 bore the brunt of the attack. HOROWHENUA V. U.F.O.A. Horowhenua Cricket Olub sent tip a team to play U.F.CJ.A. yesterday. The latter had the assistance of Bartlett, Goldspring, and Jounneaux. The visitors batted first and were disposed of for only 54. Neal 13 and Ropata 13. In their second effort they were more successful, making 85. Neal 39 and Parata 10 getting into donble figures. Bartlett captured all 10 wickets for 35. U.F.O.A. first innings totalled 101. Bartlett 40 and Goldspring 30. In their second innings U.F.O'A. obtained 43 for 6 wickets—Filleul (not ont) 10, and Snort (not out) 8. U.F.O.A. thus won by 4 runs and 4 wickets.
