Sydney, December 5. The Assembly, after lengthily debating aud negativing Mr McGowan's motion favouring nationalisation of works, ratified thn Government's proposal to advance 21 loan of £70, COO to Lithgow ironworks, owned by Sandford, Ltd.. aud si turned in the Blue Mountains, a provision included being that Government had priority over the bank to the extent of the whole advance.
