The Trust Lands trust took a poll of voters to-day for the purpose of raising a loan of £10,000 for building on trust sections. The poll was carried by 154 to 47. Invercargill, Dec. £>. Charles Cecil Smith, charged with the theft of a watch and chain and uendant, was remanded to Gore. Bail was allowed, self in £100 and ;two sureties of £60 each.
