I Messrs Abraham & Williams, Ltd., xeport on their Marton sale, held on Tuesday :-A fair yarding of sheep. all of which "were sold. \S e had a very large yarding of cattle, principally steers, for which there wps not such keen inquiry as at last sale. A largo -number were disposed of at ■satisfactory prices. Sheep: 1■ M. ewes and lambs 20s to 225, fat ewes jMs sd, forward ewes 17s 6d, mixed hoggets 16s, to 17s 6d, wether noggets 16s 3d. Cattle: 2 year steers £3 -15s, 2 to 3 year steers £4 ss, 8 year bullocks £5 5s to £6 103. empty dairy oowa 32s 6d to 455, fat cows £3 14s to £5 7s 6d, mixcl weaners 32s 6d, heifers 30s. Pigs: Weaners tlOs to 148 6d. Ou Thursday we held ; a successful clearing sale on account of Mr W. G. Tickle, at Upper Tutaenui. Dairy Cuws ranged from 86s to 50s, yearling heifers 30s, weaners 15s, draught mares £35 to l £46, 2 year filly £21. Implements, «to., sold at full rates. Messrs Abraham & Williams, Ltd., re- > port from their Johnsonville sale as follows : —A full entry of bullocks of fine Equality were sold at prices equal to 21s ■per lOOlbs. Best bullocks fetched JB9 2s |6d, £8 17s 6d to £9 and to £8 15s; . lighter steers, £1 7s 6d to £7 17s 6d. A fair yarding of theep, mostly prime / quality, sold freely; wethers, 17s lOd to 18s 2d; ewe 3, 15s 5d to 15s 6d; woolly '•wethers, 24s 9d.
