Rome, November 29. The'prosecution of Signor Nasi, a Minister, has raised an intense antiGovernment agitation. _ In Sicily the image of Nasi is enshrined in many localities. The refusal to grant him bail was due to the discovery of a plot to compass his flight. Brigands near Naples captured and tortured the Marquis Cito with a view to extorting a ransom. The ringleader of the brigands, a former policeman, has been arrested.
