Manawatu Rugby Union.
The weekly meeting of the Manawatu Bugby Union was held yesterday afternoon, Mr A. N. Gibbons in the chair. It was decided to play Horowhenua representatives at Levin on August 14. The Foxton sub-Union sought a ruling on several points. It was decided to reply that in the absence of a copy of the Club Contest Eules a ruling could not be given, Mr J. Stalker (Kia Toa) was appointed captain of the Union's representative team against Wanganui on Saturday next. Mr K. Armstrong was appointed manager of the team to visit Wairarapa on Wednesday next to meet the. representatives of that district the day following.
