SLAUGHTERMEN'S FEDERATION.
Press Association. Dunedin, July 23. It is understood that a proposal is on foot for the federation of the slaughtermen's unions of New Zealand. The proposal originated in Wellington, where a conference is likely to be held at an early date. Otago Slaughtermen's Union has approved of federation, and will be represented at the conference.
