FIRE.
Per Press Association.
Invercabgill, July 15,
A ten-roomed two-storeyed dwelling, used as a boardinghonse, occupied by Mrs Gutzell, and owned by F. Raymond, was completely destroyed by fire this morning. The inmates had to make a hurried exit, and practically nothing was saved. The furniture was insured in the North British for £180. The supposed cause was a defective chimney.
