TROUBLE IN THE ISLANDS.

Reports received by the Island steamer state that the Island of Malaita is in a very unsettled state. Some vessels engaged distributing returned islanders from Queensland report that in one part of the island two returned boys have been shot de**d. In another part six have been clubbed to deatn. The reports are not officially confirmed. One trader witnessed a tribal fight on a big scale at Guoi.
