General Confusion.

Letters from New Guinea indicate considerable uneasiness respecting the immediate future of the Possession. It is stated that the administration of the various divisions is becoming confused, and fears are entertained of the natives becoming hostile. Two District Magistrates, Messrs Monckton and English, have resigned, and others intend to take a similar course.
