' Stock Market. Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Cri. reportOn the Ist instant we held our usual Wanganui stock 1 sale. Although the weather, was veiy boisterous and wet we yarded 1000 head of mixed cattle, 300 CK X mixed sheep, and SO pigs. The attendance was good, and/bidding spirited, especially for cattle of all classes. A nice line of fat and forward bullocks fetched .£7 : 7s 6d. We sold everything except a line. Qf store cows and weaners and a pen of steers at satisfactory prices. All the. sheep 'came forward as advertised with.the exception of a line of lambs, and "all sold at ruling rates. Pigs sold freely. Good fat cows £5 5s to,£s 15s, others 5 £4 10s to £5, fat bullocks £7 17s 6d, fat and forward bullocks £7 to £7,
