London, Yesterday. Obituary—Colonel Frank Rhodes, at Capetown, of black water fever which he contracted in Ugauda. [Oolonel Francis William Bhodes, 0.8., D.5.0., was born in April, 1851, and was brother of the late Cecil Bhodes, He was at the time of his death manag ing director of the African Transcontinental Telegraph Co. He served in the Soudan, was Military Secretary to the Governor of Bombay, Governor of Mashonaland and Matabeleland, served in South Africa 1900, and retired in 1903.] '
