MUTILATED BY RUSSIANS.
GRIPENBERG RETIRED

London, Saturday. General Oyama reports that pickets to the number of 29 were surrounded a| Huanglashatze on the 26th. They surrendered after the majority had been wounded. The Russians mutilated all.
It was semi officially announced at St. Petersburg later that General Gripen* berg had transferred bis command to General Niloff oa the ground of illhealth.
