A Parochial Proposal.

Dunedin, Last Night. At the Otago Rugby Committee meeting a telegram was received from the New Zealand Union that the account against J. Duncan, for which he was disqualified, was 19s 3d, which others had paid. It was stated that Duncan had paid 3s 2d, which he claimed was all that was due.
A motion came up in favour of the formation of a South Island Union, the proposal being to communicata with the Canterbury Union on the subject. It was resolved that the matter was one which should be brought before the annual meeting of delegates rather than be dealt with by that Committee.
