Sale of Blood Stock.
A long list of blood stock, constituting the entries for the joint sale by Messrs Abraham and Williams and the Loan and Mercantile Company on Friday, April 29th, appears on our fourth page. What must strike the reader perusing this list is the aristocratic strains represented. The Hon. J. D. Ormond's entry comprises the The Officer, Sir Lancelot, and Springfeldt geldings and fillies, and also the gelding Woodlander (Le Loup). Messrs Douglas enter yearImgs byMahaki, Torpedo, Quilt, and Pigrim's Progress; Mr H. Gaisford geldings and fillies by The Page, Administrator, and Gipsy King; and Mr J. D. Duncan a Stepniak colt.
