Christchurch, Last Night. •The body of a stillborn female child was found yesterday in a closet attached 10 the ladies' waiting room at the Christohurch railway station. The body was naked and there was nothing to assist identification. Probably it was placed in the closet on Saturday night. An inquest was held this afternoon and a verdict of born dead wad returned. The police have at present no clue to identity.
Dukedin, Last Night, At the inquest on John Fottrell, who was killed near Seaoliff by the capsizing on him of a covered van, a verdict was returned of accidental death, the jury adding they were thoroughly satisfied there was no cause for any imputation that deceasad was under the influence of drink at the time.
