INVERCARGILL'S THEATRE
Tenders Excessive.
(Per Press Association.) Invercargill, Last Night. The Borough Council to-night considered tenders for the erection of a Town Hall and Theatre, but accepted none, the prices being above the architect's estimate of JE16.000. It is understood that some of tho tenders (fourteen were received) went ud to £20,000.
