The report of the Commission organised by Mr Alfred Mosely to visit the United States and study the eduoation question, emphasised America's absolute belief m the value of education, including manual training schools. The Commission oonsiders that education, though not the prime cause, is a powerful contributory cause of America's progress and is essential to its maintenance, lhe absence of class prejudices and any religious difficulty served materially to facilitate efficient worfe at' the schools, ■the various grades of education coordinated,, thus preventing an overlapping, and the Commission urges that the need for such organisation in .British education is imperative.
