( Sydney, Last Night. . Dowie'• meetings 'continue to provide much excitement. His general denunciation of non-Zionists and autocratic manner of dealing with opponents, coupled with his prophetic claims, are strongly resented.'. Dowie asserts that the disturbance! > are the outcome of a well organised .' plan.

The police force was largely augmented at to-night's Town Hall- meetings. The hall was filled. A crowd of several thousands, good-humoredly singing ,and shouting, gathered outside the building. Up to a certain stage, with the assi.tanoo of the police who removed interrupters, things went fairly well. Then a certain member of the Assembly wanted to take a hand. The Rev. Wilbur Volivia, Dowie V general overseer for Australia, tried to reason with him. *

Trouble ensued, ending in the member giving Volivia in charge for urine threatening language. The meeting broke up in wild disorder.

The crowd, disappointed at not finding Dowie, who got quickly away, mad* its way to his hotel, but the police prevented a repetition of last night's demonstration and the demonstrators quickly dispersed. - •*
