On Wednesday Mr H. Wiggins junr. was united ia the holy bonds of matrimony to Miss W. A. Cox, of Tinui, near Castlo Point, at All Saints' Church, Palmerston North, by the Eev. C. C. Harper. The bride looked lovely in a most appropriate attire, the orthodox orange blossoms and veil being naturally conspicuous. Mr Taylor, of Stoney Creek, gave the bride away, and Mr Speedy acted as best man. After the ceremony the happy couple journeyed to Bunnythorpe, where a most sumptuous wedding breakfast wa3 provided at the home of the bridegroom, and to which ample justice was done by numerous visitors from various parts of the district. . The health of the bride and bridegroom and the parents of both were duly proposed and honored, and the wedding cake, a magnificent work of art made by Mr Whitehead, of Palmerston, was distributed by the bride. The presents were numerous, ornamental, and useful, and from many different' parts, showing the popularity of the young couple. The nappy pair departed amidst cheers, rice, old slippers, etc., to their new home in Stoney Creek, where we wish them every prosperity.
