Hyde—Malcolm.

Yesterday afternoon at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church Mr G. W. Hyde, of Auckland, was united in matrimony to Miss Florence Ethel Malcolm, eldest daughter of Mr K. Malcoln of Palmerston North. The Bey. I. Jolly, M.A., was the officiating clergyman. The Church was crowded, principally with ladies. The large number of friends present testified to the popularity of the bride. The Misses Walton, and Edith, Edna, and Vera Malcolm were the bridesmaids. The bride's dress was of crepe-de-chine, trimmed with muslin-de-soir and ecru insertion. She wore a becoming veil. The senior bridesmaids wore pink voile with motiff insertion, and black picture hats. The junior bridesmaids looked well in cream voile and Dolly Varden hats. Mr W. Hutcheson acted as best man and Mr D. Scott as groomsman. After the ceremony at the Church a large party of guests was entertained in a marquee at the residence of the bride's parents in Cuba street. The presents received were numerous, and included a massive overmantle from the staff of the Valuation Department, Auckland, of which Mr Hyde is a member; and a handsome tea service from the employees of the bride's father. The bridegroom's present to the bride was a diamond and sapphire ring ; to the senior bridesmaids gold medallions, and to the junior bridesmaids gold pins with heart charms. Amidst showers of rice and good wishes, from a largo number of friends at the railway station, the nappy couple left by the train for "Wanganui, where they will spend their honeymoon, and from whence they will proceed to their home in Auckland.
