Pahiatua Man Drowned.

Pahiatua, Thursday. ■At a cycling picnic held here to-day a man^named Charles Sheffield, a printer's machinist, was drowned while bathing. The body was afterwards recovered. The relatives of the deceased live in Dunedin.
