Defendant offered £2 lr, Gd in full settlement of the claim, the remainder being deducted for railway fare to Palmerston. Mr Moore objected to this deduction under the Truck Act. Judgment was given for plaintiff for the full amount, execution to be deferred for seven days, costs of Court 6s.
