Smete, claim £3 12s 3d, costs 10s ;C. E. Waldegrave (Mr Beale) v. J. W. Bull, claim £5 17s 6d, costs 23s 6d ; J. Bett (Mr Hankins) v. H. Baker, claim £12 16s 6d, costs 30s 6d ; W. Devine (Mr Beale) v. J. Mayo, claim £5, costs 20s 6d ; Manson and Barr (Mr Innes) v. R. O'Donnel,, claim, £5 8s lid, costs 33s 6d ; F. Kavanagh (Mr Innes) v. J. T. Watson, claim £3 14s, costs 10s ; P. Scheldt (Mr Cooke) v. W. Turner, claim £8 10s 3d, costs 23s 6d ; immediate execution granted. F. J. Sheppard (Mr Beale) v. R. J. Carmont, claim £3, costs 10s. DEFENDED CASE. H. Gilton v. I-I. B. Tucker, claim £2 10s. Mr Moore appeared for the plaintiff and Mr Hurley for defendant. Defendant offered £2 lr, Gd in full settlement of the claim, the remainder being deducted for railway fare to Palmerston. Mr Moore objected to this deduction under the Truck Act. Judgment was given for plaintiff for the full amount, execution to be deferred for seven days, costs of Court 6s.
