Through the courtesy of Mr. Thomas King, sttorekeeper, of this town,-, we have, been favored with the perusal of a letter-; received late last evening from spme friends m Hawera. The writer (a lady); states that she expects to have to leave; at any moment, but does not wish to do so without, tier husband, but thinks it, wiser to have the children removed for safety. The Hawera Ljght Horse, of which Mr. Livtngtone (a name conveying a vthcJeapme; terror to tiheblack skins) has been elected raptain, are at constant drill, and all the surveyors have been ordered m frotn the bush j Altogether the letter- foreshadows an impending 'struggle,: and points with gloomy foreboding fcp a rupture close at hand.
