Prince Albert Victor, the eldest son of the Prince of Wales, a boy with an erect figure and a heavy, face, is to enter a military by-and-by When he is 16 he will go into the army, and, it is said, is not unlikely to emulate the example of his soldier-like uncle, the Duke of Connaught, and undertake at first the most subordinate duties. Prince George of Wales is to adopt the naval profession. With 400 people m the hospital at Larnaoa, and only eight physicians m all Cyprus, the outlook for English soldiers and tourists is anything but bright. Five of these doctors are at Larnaca, two at Limasol, and one at Nicaosia. In none of. the other districts is there a single doctor or a single apothecary's shop. At Nicosia, which has a population of 16,000, there is one apothecary, and even he complains of no business.
