Wednesday. Information has been received that sonic men belonging to Skeet's survey j party, m going down the; Manoaeri River, Patea district, m a canoe were upset, and a man named King drowned. There is a difiiculty about holding an inquest on the body,.the. place where it lies being dense bush, and it is impos- >_ sible to bring it to the -nearest house, twenty miles distant, and then twelve men could riot be collected together. '
