They represent animals of foreign countries, regions, and dresses of semicivilized people ; underneath, them are characters like' those of the Tanal language resembling those on an ancient bell found m the North; Island. . At. the Supreme Courtto-day, Pooley and Bramhall of the English' Cricketers, were charged witli malicious injury to property. No new evidence adduced.
