BALCLUTHA.
Wednesday. No train or mail from Dunedinorthe North has arrived here since Monday. The river is falling, and all danger is over. There have been no mails from Dunedin for two days, and as the ordinary road is undamaged, it is regarded as a great neglect, and there is a strong feeling that the Government should cause an inqniry to be made, to restore confidence.
