Among the 478 patents granted by the Patents Office this week are a method of making an adhesive material from dried blood, a process for dyein" wood throughout its fibres, an illuminating device for taking pictures of body cavities, a fog*producing apparatus, methods of moisture-proofing and coating papers, a man s suit ventilated by lace strips, a dental compact with brush and paste which can be carried in a pocketbook, and, inevitably, a new mousetrap.
