WAR CRIMES
BURMA TRIALS OPENING SOON. (10.30 a.m.) RANGOON, Dec. 28. One or two military Courts are being established soon to try Japanese war criminals in Burma. They will be composed of legal exports from the Allied land forces in South-East Asia and units in Burma. Abput 500 suspects, including members of the Japanese Gestapo, are now ip custody in Burma, and the Army authorities are preparing the cases against 97 who have been identified as war criminals.
