The death is reported from London of Vice-Admiral Ernest Kindersley Loring, at the age of 76. Vice-Admiral Loring joined the Navy in 1885, as a midshipman in the training station H.M.S. Britannia, and served as Naval Transport Officer at Gallipoli in 1915. He commanded several vessels and was appointed Third Sea Lord in 1916. He was aide-de-camp to the King in 1920, and was appointed a rear-admiral in 1921. He retired in 1923 and in 1926 was made a -viceadmiral, t 7 - .
