SITE FOR HEADQUARTERS
(Rec. 9.30 a.m.; LONDON, Dec. 14. After 15 meetings the committee of the United Nations Preparatory Commission which has been deciding, on p permanent site for the United Nations Organisation adjourned until tomorrow, when proposals on voting procedure will be discussed. The chairman said there had been 17 speeches in favour of America as the Bite ar.J nine for Europe There is much speculation as to whether the required two-thirds majority will be attained if a vote is eventually taken on the broad issue of the United States versus Europe. <,A strong plea for Europe as the fcfkdquarters ol the United Nations ■was put forward by the British Government.
