EXPRESSES DELAYED
The express which is scheduled to arrive at Palmerston North at 4.19 a.m. was delayed two and a quarter hours and the Limited express delayed one hour and 16 minutes this morning.. The cause was a collision in the Okahukura railway yard last night which resulted in a derailment blocking the main line. Northbound traffic was not appreciably affected. The collision caused no serious damage and the line was cleared in 3i hours.
