The Foreign Secretary/ (Mr Bevin) has arrived in Berlin and will leave for Moscow tomorrow to confer with the Soviet Foreign Minister (M. Molotov) and the United States Secretary of Stato (Mr Byrnes),
In Berlin, Mr Bevin will confer with General Robertson (Field-Marshal Montgomery’s deputy) and Sir William Strang (Field-Marshal Montgomery’s legal adviser). One of the subjects to be discussed at the conference in Moscow is Soviet participation in the control of Japan. The conference will also clear the way for the coming meeting of the General Assembly of the United Nations in London. SOVIET CENSORSHIP.
The Soviet censors are preparing for their busiest time for two years, says an Associated Press correspondent, when the conference of the three Foreign Ministers begins. All the stories written for transmission abroad, no matter what their source, or subject must have the censor’s stamp on them.
